Ten years ago we launched Rebelle, a multicultural fashion/style magazine because we believed that an American fashion magazine should reflect all the cultural influences that shape fashion. Some people wondered if a multicultural fashion magazine would have mainstream appeal, without realizing that the mainstream was being redefined before their very eyes. The mainstream today is made up of influences from all over the globe. In the intervening years, America and much of the world have embraced the music, style and elan associated with diverse cultures. Multiculturalism is no longer a concept we are trying to get accustomed to, it's the way we live.
