| | Can you keep a secret? By Sophie Kinsella This is the hilarious rendition of the mishaps of a 20 something English girl in both her love and career life. The story begins with her getting a tad too inebriated during a flight and sharing all of her secrets (some shameful and wildly embarrassing) with a perfect stranger; only the said stranger to her surprise, turns out to play a pivotal role in a series of incidents which shape her existence post her airplane ride. | | The Year of Yes By Maria Dahvana Headley This is Humor at it’s best. For those who appreciate Frasier-like wit and relish in using big words, this novel will tickle your funny bone and send you to the dictionary every other chapter. The premise of the story is quite simple however, a brainy NYU student in a relentless search for true love decides to flip the script and say ‘yes’ to any and everyone who asks her out on a date for a whole year. From bum to doctor no one gets turned down. It is a must read you will thoroughly enjoy and at the end of it, your vocabulary will be greatly enhanced. Click on the image to buy now! | | |

| | A Year in the Merde By Stephen Clarke This is the tale of a Brit living in France for a year. Dry observational humor mark just about every single page of this must read novel. The reader gets to see France through the eyes of a young British guy who moves to France for work, and experience culture shock on just about every level from the food to the women. One would not automatically think two countries so close to each other could be so very different but after reading ‘A year in the merde’ the inherent dissimilarities between the Brits and the French will be boldly underlined while the laughter continues.
